Avionics Technician (Tech 3) for the Avionics Department

Eagle Copters Maintenance Ltd. is a world class helicopter service provider offering new and pre-owned helicopter completions, avionic installs and upgrades as well as design and certification services for customers around the world.

We have an immediate opening for an Avionics Technician (Tech 3) for the Avionics Department. This position will report directly to the Supervisor, Avionics. The position will be based in the Calgary Alberta Canada Facility at 823 McTavish Road NE.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Maintenance & installation of avionics and electrical systems fitted to helicopters
• Ensuring all applicable AD's, SB's, modifications, SL's, etc. are complied with
• Recording work on Company computer based program CORRIDOR
• Following established maintenance techniques and adhering to standards
• Placing basic parts orders
• Submitting completed estimate sheets for incoming helicopter inspections
• Sign maintenance releases and certify airworthiness

Applicable competencies, aptitudes and qualifications:

• Minimum five (5) years' experience with maintenance and installation of avionics and related electrical systems
• Must have a current AME "E" license and formal, recognized training (SAIT or equivalent)
• Obtained inspector stamp - Aircraft Certification Authority (ACA) to release and certify the aircraft avionics systems
• Strong leadership and motivational skills
• Familiarity with current aviation regulations and standards
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and knowledge of aircraft avionics systems
• Ability to work with minimal supervision • Ability to travel and work overtime as needed is desirable
• AutoCAD an asset
