ATLANTA, GEORGIA, March 2026

Aberdair Aviation Group and Eagle Copters Ltd. announced today at VERTICON 2026 a strategic partnership that will see up to five Bell 412EP helicopters deployed to support expanding helicopter operations in Africa.

Under the agreement, Eagle Copters will provide the aircraft to Aberdair Aviation as part of a long term collaboration aimed at strengthening aviation capabilities via Aberdair’s Air Operator Certificates (AOCs) in Kenya and Ghana.

The Bell 412EP aircraft will support a range of missions including humanitarian assistance, disaster response, government operations, medical evacuation, infrastructure development, and resource sector support throughout East Africa.

“This partnership reflects Eagle Copters’ continued commitment to supporting reliable helicopter operations in regions where aviation plays a critical role in connecting communities and enabling essential services,” said Jason Diniz, President of Eagle Copters. “Aberdair has built a strong reputation for delivering complex aviation solutions across Africa, and we are pleased to work together to expand helicopter capabilities in the region.”

“Aberdair has a long standing reputation for operational excellence across Africa,” Adrian Wilcox, CEO of Aberdair Aviation. “Our collaboration with Eagle Copters will allow us to expand our helicopter fleet and strengthen our ability to support critical missions in Africa.”

Headquartered in Nairobi, Aberdair Aviation is a pan-African aviation group providing helicopter and fixed wing contract operations, maintenance, charter services and aviation consultancy. With decades of experience operating across the continent, the company supports clients in the government, humanitarian, energy, mining and infrastructure sectors, often in remote and demanding environments.

Headquartered in Calgary, Canada, Eagle Copters Ltd. has more than 50 years of experience supporting helicopter operators worldwide through aircraft sales and leasing, parts, engineering and mission equipment integration, and maintenance, repair, and overhaul services. The company provides specialized solutions for operators to expand their capabilities and meet the demands of complex operating environments.

The Bell 412EP is widely recognized for its reliability, payload capacity, and strong performance in hot and high environments, making it well-suited for the operating conditions commonly encountered across Africa. Both companies expect the first aircraft under the agreement to enter service in the near future.
