Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME)

Full-time position. Calgary, AB

Job Description

Report directly to the Maintenance Manager, this position will work as a team player with many different departments to provide complete Fleet Management, which includes Maintenance; Repair and Overhaul, Airframe Upgrades and full refurbish and Customization. AME Licensed Mechanic with experience and endorsements in Bell Mediums (B205 / 212 / 412) required for this position.

Requirements

  • Carryout all scheduled; non-scheduled and airworthy maintenance required

  • Carryout the maintenance on Lease and 3rd Party aircraft consistent with standards of airworthiness and the quality requirements of Eagle Copters

  • Utilize, Understand and follow the instructions of the applicable approved manual to carry out assigned tasks

  • Ensure the condition and safety of all tools and equipment

  • Maintain required levels of productivity when carrying out repair and overhaul duties

  • Help foster a positive attitude with technicians and ACA’s assigned to their projects by providing a clear understanding of the goals, values and policies of the company

  • Cooperate with the QA / QC Inspector as required on work order reviews or audits

  • Able to communicate effectively

 

Qualifications and Experience

  • Must hold a valid Transport Canada AME license (preferably licensed 5 years or more)

  • Bell 205 / 212 / 412 Endorsement and experience required

  • Valid Drivers License

  • Must be able to acquire a Restricted Airside Identification Card (RAIC)

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, as well as a proven team player

Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - B407 AME

Job Description

Avionics Technician - AME "E"

Full-time position. Calgary, AB

Responsibilities

  • Report to various Project Managers, and directly to the Avionics Manager on issues affecting the serviceability of aircraft

  • Ensure aircraft are maintained in accordance with company and Transport Canada Regulations and quality standards

  • Accurate completion of all paperwork in accordance with published procedures, manuals and documentation.

  • Maintain the work area in a neat and tidy condition

  • Attend training courses as directed by the company

  • Performing installations of avionics equipment and systems on aircraft

  • Troubleshooting and repairing aircraft discrepancies in compliance with manufacturer's standards to expedite return to flight status

  • Program and configure various products

 

Qualifications and Experience

  • The successful candidate will be a graduate of an approved Transport Canada Aircraft Maintenance Avionics course and/or hold a valid AME license Category E

  • Must be able to obtain and retain a Transport Canada Airport Pass (RAIC)

  • Eligibility for Controlled Goods Program (security) considered an asset

  • Ability to work under pressure and demonstrate strong organizational skills

  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to work safely with basic hand tools

  • Understand technical manuals, drawings, and blueprints

  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic

  • Able to work effectively independently and as part of a team

Component AME

Full-time position. Calgary, AB

Job Description

Reporting directly to the Component Shop Manager, the Component AME will be responsible for component repairs and complete overhauls.

Requirements

•     AME license (preferably licensed 3 years or more, Apprentices will be considered)

•     Bell approved training/experience with BHT204/ 205/ 212/ 412/ 407 and 206 Series is an asset

•     Ability to understand and complete certification processes on Component technical records as per company policies

•     Excellent communication and collaboration skills, as well as a proven team player

•     Utilize, understand and follow the instructions of the applicable approved manuals to carry out tasks

Electronics Bench Service Technician

Full-time position. Calgary, AB

Job Description

Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, the Electronics Bench Service Technician will be responsible for testing and troubleshooting completed Avionics assemblies as well as printed circuit boards to the SMT component level. This is a full-time position based in Calgary, AB.

Responsibilities

  • Perform testing, troubleshooting and soldering repairs at the component level on Printed Circuit Boards

  • Troubleshoot all assigned assemblies

  • Read and interpret schematics, prints and wiring diagrams

  • Assemble Electronics and wiring Assemblies

  • Input information to the test and troubleshoot database, and apply information from the lesson learned program

  • Perform test equipment repair and improvements

  • Conduct analysis of failure trends and communicating trends in manufacturing and component failures

  • Complete applicable paperwork

  • Assist in the compilation of procedures and checklists

  • Assist Engineering on new product development and product improvement

  • Conduct performance and function tests of completed assemblies and Avionics equipment

Qualifications and Experience

  • Certificate in Electronics training

  • 2 years minimum experience testing, troubleshooting and repairing electronic products.

  • SMT component level soldering experience

  • Experience selecting and developing Electronic bench testing equipment and test fixtures

  • Experience coordinating with Engineering for product development 

  • Experience producing test reports and procedures

  • Experience with Lesson Learned programs

  • Proficient in MS Office

  • Ability to manage workload under changing deadlines and priorities

Technical Records Administrator

Technical Records Administrator

Position: Full Time

Hours: 7am – 3:30pm 

 

Specific Accountabilities

The Technical Records Administrator is responsible to the PRM but reports to the project managers for ensuring that the technical records as they relate to airframe, engines and component work scopes are properly and accurately detailed.

 

 

Main Responsibilities
  • Assist Project Managers

  • Monitor the project work scopes and ensure maintenance records are originated and maintained with respect to life, TBO items, airworthiness directives, and other special inspections.

  • Monitor and maintain records for weight and balance amendments, equipment lists, loading data, and electrical load analysis.

  • Ensure that all particulars of the maintenance functions have been entered in the appropriate aircraft logbooks and component history sheets and have been properly certified by a person holding the appropriate authority.

  • Prepare aircraft technical records as required for the applicable airworthiness authority for the importation and exportation of aircraft.

  • Maintain the technical files as they relate to aircraft, engines, and components.

  • Understand the goals, values, and policies of the company and contribute to Flight Safety by remaining vigilant & respectful

 
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a related environment

  • Basic understanding of aviation regulatory requirements.

  • Good working knowledge of computer applications including Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Comfortable working in both office and warehouse environments.

  • Ability to work overtime when required.

  • Must be able to secure, pass and maintain a Transport Canada Aviation Security clearance.

  • Must have secure transportation for work

  • Ability to develop, organize, and evaluate information to arrive at sound, supportable decisions.

  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and effectively handle changing priorities.

  • Must be a team player who has attention to detail.

  • Must be self-motivated, while having the ability to take direction within an open office environment.
