About the Opportunity:
Eagle Copters is looking for motivated and hands-on Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Apprentices to join our growing maintenance team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals beginning their careers in aviation maintenance who are eager to learn, build technical skills, and gain experience working on an exciting variety of helicopter types.
As an AME Apprentice, you will work under the supervision of experienced, licensed AMEs and the Director of Maintenance. You’ll support the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of our helicopter fleet while developing the competencies required to progress toward your Transport Canada AME license.
Responsibilities:
As an apprentice, you will assist licensed AMEs with tasks such as:
- • Performing routine and unscheduled maintenance on company and third-party aircraft.
• Supporting troubleshooting activities by helping identify mechanical, electrical, or structural issues.
• Assisting with repairs, component replacements, and system installations (mechanical, hydraulic, fuel,flight controls, etc.).
• Completing documentation for tasks and learning correct technical record procedures.
• Participating in inspections such as FOD checks, incoming aircraft inspections, and quality-control processes.
• Helping maintain shop organization, tool control, and equipment readiness.
• Learning regulatory and OEM procedures, airworthiness standards, and company maintenance practices.
• Supporting the maintenance team with purchasing parts, preparing work areas, and coordinating with supervisors.
• Contributing to a positive, safety-focused work environment.
What we are looking for:
- Enrolled in or recently graduated from an approved Aircraft Maintenance Engineer program, or eligible to register as an AME apprentice with Transport Canada.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and desire to build a long-term career in aircraft maintenance.
- Ability to follow instructions, ask questions, and learn in a hands-on environment.
- Commitment to safety, professionalism, and teamwork.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Eligibility to obtain a RAIC pass is considered an asset.
Experience with helicopters or specific models (Bell 205/212/407/412, S-76, A-Star, AW139) is welcome but not

Eagle Copters Maintenance Ltd. (ECML) is a Calgary-based company offering complete helicopter fleet management support to operators since 1975. We offer purchasing, selling, leasing, maintenance and overhaul of helicopters in the global marketplace.
We are currently seeking Aircraft Maintenance Engineers with 5 to 10 years of relevant experience to join our team. The primary work location is 823 McTavish Road NE, Calgary, Alberta, T2E 7G9. These are permanent, full-time positions. (40 hours/week) with the possibility of overtime.
The salary range for this position is $88,000 to $122,000 per annum, commensurate of relevant experience and the required qualifications. Not all aircraft-related experience is considered relevant for this position. In some cases, specific licenses and certifications may be used in lieu of years of relevant experience. Relocation assistance may be considered where applicable. The language of work for this position is English.
In this position the AME will report to the Maintenance Manager and be responsible for the maintenance and overhaul of our helicopter fleet. Specifically, the main responsibilities for this position include:

Key Responsibilities
- Performing repairs and overhauls on leased and third-party aircraft in compliance with the standards of airworthiness and the quality requirements of Eagle Copters;
- Performing both routine scheduled, and emergency maintenance as required on all aircraft;
- Troubleshooting, testing and identifying all problems in the aircraft, and subsequently repairing identified issues;
- Documenting issues along with steps taken for resolution and outcome;
- Collaborating with the QA Manager regarding aircraft work order reviews or internal company audit(s) as required;
- Ensuring all work tools and equipment are in good condition and can be operated safely, and requesting replacement or repair as needed;
- Requesting the purchase of necessary spare parts and supplies as needed;
- Conducting airworthiness inspections and dual inspections, FOD inspections and aircraft final QC inspections sign-outs as required by Eagle Copters policies and procedures;
- Ensuring EASA, JCAB, DGAC aircraft/component maintenance is performed in accordance with approved supplements, and correct maintenance release statements are used;
- Applying the instructions of the applicable regulatory, OEM and company manual(s) to execute assigned maintenance and repair tasks, including replacing and installing mechanical, hydraulic, fuel, and flight control systems;
- Ensuring the final maintenance release in the aircraft logbook has been accomplished in accordance with the regulatory body it is registered too, TC, EASA, JCAB, DGAC or FAA standards as applicable; and
- Assisting in training other employees and contributing to maintaining the company’s positive work environment.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Transport Canada Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) M license or qualify to obtain license
- Valid Transport Canada Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC) pass or eligible to obtain;
- Recent and extensive experience working in an AME capacity; and
- Experience working on or have an approved aircraft type endorsement for, at minimum one of the following aircrafts: Bell 205, 212, 407, 412, S-76, H125, or AW139 aircrafts.

Reporting to the VP of Engineering, the Avionics Airworthiness Engineer will be an integral member of the Eagle Design Approval Organization (DAO) and the primary Engineering team member responsible for airworthiness compliance and design approval of Avionics and Electrical technical solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Accountability for all Avionics and Electrical related Design Change Approval certification programs
undertaken by the Eagle DAO. - Make Findings of Compliance to Avionics and Electrical related Standards of Airworthiness as
delegated by Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA). - Coordinate with TCCA on certification project objectives, planning, testing and schedule.
- Contribute to the development and operation of the Eagle TCCA DAO as part of the Airworthiness Control Committee (ACC).
- Create, review and approve certification data packages, including technical drawings, installation manuals, Instructions for Continuing Airworthiness, flight manuals, test plans, test reports, technical analyses, substantiation reports, certification plans, etc.
- Create, review and approve stand alone Minor Change Approvals as well as Minor changes to Eagle Design Approvals within the Avionics and Electrical scope.
- Manage engineering certification and design projects utilizing both internal and external resources ensuring successful project completion.
- Provide support for all customer and company Avionics and Electrical requests including providing certification assessments, technical solutions and proposals.
- Provide technical support to customers, installers, and the customer Technical Support team in support of the installation and certification of aeronautical products.
- Remain current on new Avionics and Electrical technical solutions and certification requirements based on customer input, regulatory updates and the latest trends in technology.
- Attend trade shows, workshops, conferences and training courses as directed by the company to ensure knowledge and skills are current and to expand delegation scope when required.
- Independently conduct online research and communicate with vendors to update understanding of avionics and electrical products.
- Develop, and enforce compliance with, internal policies, procedures, and standards to support continuous improvement.
- Mentor less experienced colleagues and delegate candidates.
Required Skills, Knowledge & Qualifications:
- Current or previous TCCA delegation to make findings of compliance for Avionics and Electrical related airworthiness standards, or
Equivalent current or previous delegation under a foreign regulatory body in the Avionics and Electrical speciality, or Proven eligibility for delegation in accordance with AWM 505 in the Avionics and Electrical speciality. - Bachelor’s degree, Diploma or equivalent in a related field (e.g. Aerospace, Electrical, Avionics, etc.).
- Eligibility for certification under APEGA or ASET.
- Minimum of 10 years aviation/aerospace engineering experience.
- Minimum of 10 years aviation electrical/avionics integration design, substantiation and airworthiness certification experience.
- Experience with aircraft certification and familiarity with TCCA CAR 521, 527, 529 and equivalents.

Job Description:
The Corporate Controller provides strategic leadership, direction, and coordination of all corporate financial management activities for O’Reilly Group of Companies which include both domestic and international organizations. This role is responsible for ensuring timely delivery of accurate financial reporting, implementing effective internal controls, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and compliance with Canadian GAAP and federal regulatory standards. The Corporate Controller oversee Company Controllers in addition to having direct responsibility for a few emerging organizations/affiliates/JVs in the group. The Corporate Controller will partner closely with the CFO, CCO & President in addition to other senior management leaders within various entities to drive financial performance, optimize and have ownership of Operational KPIs & their implementation. In addition, Corporate Controller will engage in supporting corporate financing, treasury, direct and indirect tax, hedging while mentoring the Company Controllers and a strong accounting function within the O’Reilly group of companies.
Responsibilities
Financial Strategy & Oversight
- Lead or Support the preparation, consolidation, and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements across all corporate entities.
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes; monitor and report on variances against targets.
- Develop and recommend financial benchmarks, KPIs, and performance metrics for each division and subsidiary.
- Support strategic decision-making through detailed financial modeling and scenario analysis.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, corporate policies, and regulatory reporting requirements.

Cash Flow & Treasury Management
- Oversee and prepare multi-entity cash flow forecasts, ensuring adequate liquidity for operations and capital initiatives.
- Optimize cash management, credit facilities, and banking relationships across all companies.
- Support the CFO in investment decisions, contract negotiations, and capital allocation planning.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead, mentor, and develop accounting and finance team members across all business units.
- Foster a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement within the finance function.
- Partner with department leaders to provide financial guidance, operational insight, and data-driven recommendations.

Required Skills, Knowledge & Qualifications:

Reporting to the Director of Quality and Safety, the Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Coordinator will be responsible for promoting and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment in compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations, and for promoting a strong safety culture at all of Eagle’s facilities.
Responsibilities
- Support the development, implementation and maintenance of Eagle’s HSE manual, policies, procedures, and programs.
- Ensure day‐to‐day compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Regulations and Labour Codes.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies and procedures.
- Perform risk assessments, investigate and coordinate root cause analyses and corrective actions for job safety observations reported by employees or identified by Safety.
- Collaborate with management and employees to identify hazards and recommend risk mitigation strategies.
- Participate in incident investigations and assist department managers in implementing corrective and preventive actions
- Perform follow‐up and effectiveness check of implemented corrective and preventive actions.
- Assist with the development and management of Eagle’s OHS training programs.
- Perform and/or facilitate safety meetings, toolbox talks, and employee training sessions.

Job Description:
The Machinist Apprentice is responsible for supporting the fabrication and welding team by operating manual and CNC machinery under the direction of the Welding Shop Manager. This role is focused on developing the foundational skills required to become a qualified machinist, with the guidance of a journeyman machinist, including interpreting technical drawings, preparing raw materials, and using precision measurement tools. The apprentice will follow a structured training plan, learn safe and efficient machining practices while supporting ongoing production and repair projects.

- Ideally have light fabrication and mig welding abilities or are willing to learn
- Physically capable of lifting to 50lb
- Good understanding of mechanical drawings

Job Description:
Reporting to the Director, Quality and Safety, the QC (Quality Control) Inspector is responsible for monitoring the activities of the MRO to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, operational procedures and company deliverable expectations. As a QC Inspector, you will play a vital role in supporting AMEs (Aircraft Maintenance Engineers) by providing mentorship, conducting inspections, verifying compliance, and ensuring safety and quality standards are upheld.
Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and mentorship to AMEs on Quality Assurance (QA) procedures, documentation standards, and compliance with aviation regulations.
- Thoroughly review work orders to ensure proper completion, documentation, and adherence to approved procedures.
- Ensure that all parts used in maintenance and repairs are certified and traceable.
- Monitor the use of calibrated tools for expiry and serviceability and coordinate with QA on the tool calibration program.
- Conduct Quality Control checks on completed tasks, ensuring that they meet safety and quality standards before aircraft release.
- Perform in-process inspections of maintenance activities to verify compliance with regulatory standards, maintenance procedures and company expectations.
- Verify that all dual signoffs and inspections have been completed accurately and that no issues are overlooked.
- Confirm that work orders are built correctly and followed in accordance with the approved procedures.
- Ensure that correct documentation (approved/acceptable/specified data) is used for each task.
- Ensure that minor changes to aircraft in accordance with CAR 571.06 are appropriately documented.
- Verify that the WO parts lists match the drawing Bill of Materials (BOM) and any deviations are appropriate and adequately documented.
- Monitor the use of alternate parts, and ensure they are valid and appropriate for use.
- Support the interpretation of technical data, manuals, and schematics and investigate source material and liaise with Engineering where required for clarity.
- Ensure that all maintenance, modification and repair activities comply with approved technical data. Identify and raise NCRs (Non-conformity Reports) in coordination with QA for any discrepancies or defects found during inspections.
- Identify and raise hazard reports in line with the Safety Management System (SMS) for any potential risks or safety concerns encountered during inspections.
- Act as a liaison between the MRO, QA, Technical Records, Planning and Engineering departments to ensure communication and resolution of any issues related to maintenance or compliance.
- Assist in identifying the root cause of quality issues and support the implementation of corrective actions to address deficiencies and prevent recurrence.
- Conduct Foreign Object Damage (FOD) inspections to ensure no foreign objects are left inside the aircraft, preventing damage or safety hazards.
- Support Quality Assurance Manager and Quality Specialists with the management of the QA system.

Required Skills, Knowledge & Qualifications:
- At least 10 years of experience in aircraft maintenance and quality control in the aviation/aerospace industry.
- Valid AME license holder with type rating on any of Bell/Sikorsky/Leonardo/Airbus helicopter types maintained by Eagle Copters Maintenance Ltd.
- Proven experience in helicopter maintenance, modification and repair.
- Strong understanding of CAR 571, 573 and their foreign equivalents.
- Proficient in technical data interpretation of maintenance manuals and aircraft schematics.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments.
- Familiarity with root cause analysis techniques.
Preference will be given to applicants who also possess:
- Experience with ISO 9001:2015/AS9100/AS9110 accredited organizations.

Reporting to the Manager, Quality Assurance, the e Quality Specialist is responsible for:
- the Quality Specialist will participate in the maintenance, development and implementation of the Quality and Safety Management Systems at Eagle and its subsidiaries.
- That includes conducting audits, and analyzing data to identify and resolve quality issues, ensuring compliance
with industry standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Perform internal audits in accordance with the annual internal audit schedule of the company.
- Assist in regulatory, customer and third-party audits of the company.
- Assist in the investigation of product or process non-conformances and potential flight safety issues.
- Raise corrective action requests (CAR) for audit findings and/or non-conformities. Follow-up with department managers or process owners for prompt response to the CAR’s.
- Assist the department managers or process owners to perform root cause analysis and define
corrective actions for CAR’s. - Ensure Eagle’s Quality Management Systems documentation (MPM, MPM Supplements, CPM etc.) are kept current and updated.
- Assist the Quality Assurance Manager (QAM) in ensuring company compliance with all relevant regulatory and legal requirements.
- Assist the QAM in the maintenance of company’s regulatory approvals and certifications.
- Assist the QAM in the upkeep of Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) and AME apprentice training, qualification, and authorization records.
- Assist in the maintenance of Quality and Safety Training programs for all required Eagle staff.
- Conduct QC checks or audits on company work orders to ensure all documentation and practices are following applicable standards and company policies.
- Maintain tool calibration program by planning and performing inhouse tool calibration following established standards, and by coordinating with external calibration vendors.
- Assist in the implementation and development of SMS (Safety Management System) program.
- Assist in performing risk assessments for SMS reports.
- Assist Purchasing with determining the acceptability of parts and their certifications.
- Assist QAM in evaluating and submitting Service Difficulty Reports (SDR’s).
- Assist with the management of vendor approval process.
- Identify improvement initiatives for the company and coordinate with applicable departments to implement improvements.
- Assist in the generation of KPI’s/metrics related to Quality and Safety.
- Maintain proficiency with respect to the latest regulatory requirements and guidance.
Required Skills, Knowledge & Qualifications:
- 3-5 years experience in a Quality Assurance/Control role in aviation/aerospace industry.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Quality Management, Engineering or similar, or a combination of equivalent education and experience.
- Working knowledge of the Canadian Aviation Regulations and Standards related to 561, 571 and 573.
- Excellent computer skills related to Microsoft Office, ERP and Quality related software suites.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
