Rotable Part Coordinator


Calgary, AB


Position: Temporary/Full Time



7:00 am – 3:30 pm

Posting Expiry Date: April 2, 2021

Reporting to the Project Manager of Core Assets the Rotable Part position will

manage the flow of the rotable components throughout the business



  • Manage the complete flow for rotable components that have been removed from the aircraft

  • Determine the proper stock levels of the rotable component inventory to satisfy internal and external customers

  • Create service requests for outside vendors and work orders for in-house component repairs

  • Correspond with customers on when exchange components will be received and notify customers of any additional repair costs, they will be responsible for

  • Coordinate with internal Maintenance Teams to plan rotable component movements between aircraft and work orders

  • Work closely with the Accounting Team to ensure correct billing on rotable transactions

  • Notify the Technical Records Team of rotable component swaps both on and off aircraft

  • Manage all third party rotable component servicing, including quoting, status updates, and expediting service completion


Required Skills, Knowledge & Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Supply Chain Management preferred

  • Education/experience with Aviation Management an asset

  • 1-2 years experience preferred

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, with solid knowledge of MS Excel Pivot-tables and V-lookups

  • Experience with Corridor Aviation Service Software is a highly favored asset but not required

  • Able to lift up to 20 lbs regularly and sit/stand for extended periods

  • Interest in the aviation industry would be beneficial




  • Attend training courses as directed by the company to ensure knowledge and skills are current

  • Ability to work under pressure and demonstrate strong organizational/time management skills

  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic

  • Able to adapt quickly to changing priorities

  • Able to work effectively independently and as part of a team

  • Ensure adherence to regulatory/professional standards and company policies

  • Make recommendations on policies and procedures to support continuous improvement

  • Other duties as assigned
