Eagle Copters Maintenance Ltd. (ECML) is a Calgary-based company offering complete helicopter fleet management support to operators since 1975. We offer purchasing, selling, leasing, maintenance and overhaul of helicopters in the global marketplace.
We are looking for 14 Aircraft Maintenance Engineers to join our team immediately. Our main office and work location for this position will be 823 McTavish Road NE, Calgary, Alberta, T2E 7G9. These are permanent, full-time positions of 40 hours/week with the potential for overtime and an initial salary of $75,000 - $80,000/annum. Once individuals obtain a valid Transport Canada AME license, salary offered will increase to $90,000 - $100,000/annum. Additionally, individuals may qualify for a discretionary yearly salary increase based on performance and abilities.

In this position the AME will report to the Maintenance Manager and be responsible for the maintenance and overhaul of our helicopter fleet.
Specifically, the main responsibilities for this position include:
- Performing repairs and overhauls on leased and third-party aircraft in compliance with the standards of airworthiness and the quality requirements of Eagle Copters;
- Performing both routine scheduled, and emergency maintenance as required on all aircraft;
- Troubleshooting, testing and identifying all problems in the aircraft, and subsequently repairing identified issues;
- Documenting issues along with steps taken for resolution and outcome;
- Collaborating with the QA Manager regarding aircraft work order reviews or internal company audit(s) as required;
- Ensuring all work tools and equipment are in good condition and can be operated safely, and requesting replacement or repair as needed;
- Requesting the purchase of necessary spare parts and supplies as needed;
- Conducting airworthiness inspections and dual inspections, FOD inspections and aircraft final QC inspections sign-outs as required by Eagle Copters policies and procedures;
- Ensuring EASA, JCAB, DGAC aircraft/component maintenance is performed in accordance with approved supplements, and correct maintenance release statements are used;
- Applying the instructions of the applicable regulatory, OEM and company manual(s) to execute assigned maintenance and repair tasks, including replacing and installing mechanical, hydraulic, fuel, and flight control systems;
- Ensuring the final maintenance release in the aircraft logbook has been accomplished in accordance with the regulatory body it is registered too, TC, EASA, JCAB, DGAC or FAA standards as applicable; and
- Assisting in training other employees and contributing to maintaining the company’s positive work environment.
For this role, you must have the following qualifications:
- Valid Transport Canada Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) M license or qualify to obtain license;
- Valid Transport Canada Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC) pass or eligible to obtain;
- Recent and extensive experience working in an AME capacity; and
- Experience working on or have an approved aircraft type endorsement for, at minimum one of the following aircrafts: Bell 205, 212, 407, 412, S-76, A-Star, or AW139 aircrafts.

Job Description:
Reporting to the VP of Engineering, the Sr. Avionics Engineer/ Technologist will be responsible for ensuring all avionic designs meet company Engineering Procedures and design requirements. Assist in design, analysis, testing, certification, and project management.
Responsibilities:
- Creation and review of certification data packages, including technical drawings, installation manuals, Instructions for Continuing Airworthiness, test plans, test reports, substantiation reports and analysis, etc.
- Developing standards and processes for aircraft systems designs and ensuring compliance
- Project managing design efforts to ensure successful completion
- Working with stakeholders towards the design, installation, and certification of aeronautical products
- Mentoring less experienced colleagues
- Contributing to the development and operation of a TCCA DAO
Required Skills, Knowledge & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field (e.g. Aerospace, Electrical, Avionics Engineering, etc.)
- Eligible for certification under APEGA or ASET (i.e. P.Eng, P.L.(Eng.) or P.Tech)
- Minimum of 10 years aviation/aerospace engineering experience
- Aviation electrical/ electronic/ avionics design and substantiation experience
- Experience with aircraft certification and familiarity with TCCA CAR 521, 527, 529 and equivalents
- Eligibility for delegation under AWM 505 an asset
- Experience with AutoCAD Vault is an asset

The Director of Sales & Flight Operations will report to the President of Eagle Copters. Specifically, the main responsibilities for this position include:
Business Development and Sales:
- Primary responsibility is to develop new markets in Africa, India, and Australasia along with managing key accounts in those regions.
- Upsell all products/services of Eagle Copters to provide a one-stop-shop solution to customers, including but not limited to leasing, sales, MRO, parts, support programs, and engineering solutions.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally.
- Coordinate internally with key individuals to develop asset valuations.
- Identify new markets and develop strategies to support growth.
- Identify client needs and developing marketing strategy and action plan for assigned clients.
- Responsible for developing and preparing customized proposals for client presentations.
- Responsible for coordinating with Marketing to develop required collateral as well as extend our reach to new potential customers by way of strategic benchmarking.
- Develop and maintain effective network within the business community and industry.
- Coordinate with customers to understand their near term (12 to 18 months) and longer term (post 2 years) fleet plans including fleet updates and/or lease additions & renewals.
- Manage RFQs, coordinating with all internal parties, to submit world-class value added solutions.
- Possess strong and in-depth understanding of all aircraft related technical documentation as well as commercial documentation.
- Manage Leasing Activities: Lease Back Inspection, Return to Service, aircraft cost build up, MRO planning, contractual negotiation, and any other supporting items.
- Continued focus on Market Intelligence and Trending to drive internal business strategies.
Flight Operations:
- Co-ordinate with and support internal teams to prepare for Flight Checks post MRO activity all the way through Aircraft Delivery.
- Responsible for all Flight Protocols including but not limited to Safety, Human Factors Program, Pre- Flight Checks, Post-Flight Checks, Squawk list review and required checks to ensure safe and sustainable solutions are incorporated, Operations coordination, etc.
- Sign-off in all aircraft prior to final customer delivery.
Required Skills, Knowledge & Qualifications:
Business Development and Sales:
- 15+ years in aviation operations is a requirement.
- 15+ years working with emerging markets, especially India and/or Africa.
- Ability to manage diverse client cultures and adapt to new markets.
- Strong networking skills and relationship-management skills.
- Must possess strong interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team.
- A strong understanding of various markets and associated trends.
Flight Operations:
Over 15 Years of Rotorcraft Experience with the following as minimum requirements:
- Over 7,000 Total Aircraft Hours.
- Over 5,000 Total Offshore Hours.
- Over 400 plus hours in multi-engine operations.
- Over 6,000 Total hours as Pilot-In-Command (PIC).
- Over 1,900 hours operating in Glass Cockpit.
- Over 150 hours Night Operations.
- Over 100 hours operating underslung missions.
- Current Licenses: CPL (Helicopter).
- Current Certifications and Ratings: Night rated, Sling Rated.
- VIP Flights and Unit Flight Safety experience an advantage.
Preferred Knowledge:
Marketing & Associated Experience:
- Proven experience (through a portfolio or samples) in graphic design, showcasing creativity, visual aesthetics, and attention to detail. Social media design/management an advantage.
- Proficiency in using graphic design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Affinity Publisher or other industry-standard tools.
- Solid understanding of design principles, typography, and layout composition.
- Strong understanding of Brand Identity, collateral and management.

Qualifications
For this role, you must have the following qualifications:
- 15+ years in aviation in aircraft maintenance, or associated fields is a requirement;
- Technical degree and/or formal diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering is a requirement;
- Postgraduate, preferably MBA, in Marketing or associated disciplines;
- 15+ years working with emerging markets, especially India and/or Africa, across aircraft leasing, sales, valuations, technical support, and commercial programs is a requirement;
- Demonstrated background in aircraft and high value aircraft sales, acquisitions, and leasing, with strong understanding of contracts and agreements is a requirement;
- Ability to manage diverse client cultures and adapt to new markets;
- Strong networking skills and relationship-management skills;
- Strong understanding of various markets and associated trends; and
- Willing to travel internationally and for extended periods of time.
